Our Site Team have been busy completing the below ground basement structure including ground works and the installation of the main structural elements.

Recent work also includes the manufacturing and installation of the foundation piles and capping beams. The featured photos show the ground floor slab which has recently been poured. Furthermore, while this has been happening our team have also been constructing the ground floor preparation for concrete and the crane base. Services prelays of the car parks and the ground floor apartment are underway with the remaining ground floor concrete being poured by the end of March.

We continue to support the heritage and history of this iconic location having maintained and protected the heritage facade of the old building and brickwork along Beaufort Street. We have also commenced the restoration of the façade, removing the existing render and graffiti, repointing the brickwork, and upgrading the structural canopy for future use.

We recently leased a temporary site directly across the road from the development where our building site office is located providing private parking spaces for our trades team to ensure we are not adversely affecting the local community with congestion on local streets or taking up public car spaces during the construction process.

Next we will complete the ground floor concrete and the start the walling structure and formwork as we prepare to begin works on the First-Floor slab. In conjunction we will be excavating the basement using a construction method called Top Down. This will allow for simultaneously works on the Basement and Ground Floor as we build up through the floors maximising the working area.
